Product Description

Isoflexx(r) flexible busbars are innovative electrical connections for your low-voltage installations:

  • as movable components in solid busbar systems
    for connection to generators, transformers, switchgear and switching devices
  • as a supply line to machine switches and immersion baths
  • as a riser cable in switchgear
  • and much more.

Conductor material Isoflexx(r) - copper lamellae:
We manufacture Isoflexx(r) in cross-sections from 21.6 to 1200 mm². The copper lamellas are made of highly conductive Cu-ETP.

  • Electrical conductivity 58 MS/m
  • Tensile strength 200 MPa [R200].
  • Lamella thicknesses from 0.5 mm - 1.0 mm
  • Cu-ETP bare or Cu-ETP tin-plated (higher corrosion resistance)

Isoflexx(r)insulation
Our Isoflexx(r) Classic and Isoflexx(r) Premium (105-190 °C) allow higher temperatures than PVC or XLPE cables (70-90 °C). This means that a much higher current carrying capacity can be achieved.

Isoflexx(r) insulation is resistant and has reinforced edges to withstand high operating voltages. The homogeneous, stress-free insulation prevents cracking at the edges. Isoflexx(r) busbar insulations are available in various colours and comply with the RoHS Directive.

Isoflexx(r)connections
EMS has many years of experience in the manufacture of technically demanding connections made of various materials.

The connections, which are pressure-welded on one or both sides (bare copper only), have excellent conductivity due to their molecular bonding. The connection surfaces can be drilled, milled and bent.
